This Bristol LHS6L was new to West Yorkshire PTE in July 1976, and came to Merseyside along with four similar vehicles to work on the 100 & 101 services.  It later entered preservation and was painted in an attempt to resemble the appearance of a train.  Eventually it came to the Merseyside Transport Trust and was restored to its early-1980s condition.
